SMKN 1 ROTA Bayat is located in Bayat, Klaten – Central Java as a senior secondary vocational school specializing in ceramic/ pottery and batik. The school was built 2009 and funded by ROTA – Qatar Foundation on a plot of land of approximately 26,000 sqm.

The School Inauguration took place on 17 December 2009 in Bayat – Klaten and was opened by Mr. Bibit Waluyo – The Governor of Central Java, Omnia Noor – The President of Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), Qatar Foundation, and Mrs. Lily Kasoem – The Founder of Titian Foundation.
