Titian Foundation proudly announces that Bank Mandiri – Indonesia’s biggest state-owned bank – has decided to support the foundation’s scholarship through its CSR programme. Earlier this year the bank, after careful consideration, committed itself to providing scholarship funding for five outstanding students currently in Titian’s high school scholarship programme so that they may go on to study at university. The scheme covers the full four years of their university study, as well as their admission fee and living allowances.
At the end of January staff from Bank Mandiri plan to visit SMKN 1 ROTA Bayat – Klaten, where the Titian scholarships are administered, to symbolically hand over the fund to all scholarship recipients and sign the MoU at an official ceremony. Around 100 personnel from Bank Mandiri will visit the school and take part in a series of joint activities with the students.
