Titian Foundation has improved skills of 15 women from Cungkrungan hamlet through its Community Development programme by providing sewing training. The training is held twice a week and facilitated by teachers of vocational school SMK N 1 ROTA Bayat. As part of the batik village, the women of Cungkrungan hamlets are learning how to make their own batik patterns, turning them into shirts. In this way, Titian is opening the minds of laborers to think more like entrepreneurs. The bond between the community and vocational school teachers is a strategic relationship with the intention of establishing a school‐village vocation.
